AMRACE Hosts High-Level Workshop for Machinery & Engineering Productivity Nexus
28 March 2024
AMRACE recently had the honor of hosting a high-level workshop for the Machinery & Engineering Productivity Nexus (MEPN), a vital initiative represented by esteemed members including Lorela Chia, Ricky Soo, Yoong KS, and Carol Ong from the Machinery & Engineering Industries Federation (MEIF), which represents more than 6000 companies. Also present were representatives from the Malaysia Productivity Corporation AeroPN and MEPN secretariat teams, along with our latest collaborator from Universiti Malaya, Mohd Hamdi Abd Shukor.Â
The focus of the workshop was on refining and updating the definition of the Machinery & Engineering (M&E) industry, a sector experiencing rapid evolution and serving as the cornerstone of Malaysia’s industrialization. Suppliers within this industry contribute significantly to the supply chains of key sectors such as Electrical & Electronics (E&E), semiconductor, and aerospace.Â
At AMRACE, we specialize in providing support to the Precision Machining sector, which plays a crucial role within the broader M&E industry. Our collaboration with MEPN and its esteemed members underscores our commitment to driving productivity and innovation within this sector.Â
As the landscape of the M&E industry continues to evolve, collaboration and dialogue among key stakeholders become increasingly essential. AMRACE is proud to be at the forefront of these efforts, working alongside industry leaders to shape the future of Malaysia’s industrial landscape.Â
Stay tuned for further updates on our ongoing collaborations and initiatives aimed at driving productivity and excellence within the Machinery & Engineering sector. Together, we can propel Malaysia towards a brighter and more prosperous future.
