System Details | About the FX20 The FX20 is the largest and most precise machine Markforged has ever produced. This large format 3D printer features an 84L heated build chamber and massive, verified-flat vacuum bed with print sheets. The motion control system offers closed loop control through precision linear encoders, and is tuned to move the 3kg print head rapidly and accurately. FX20’s turbo mode builds parts faster than any Markforged machine, while new XL spools offer four times the material without spool changeover. The FX20 is remarkably easy to use. It features a 7 inch touchscreen from which users can control every aspect of the printer. Automated calibration and leveling reduces operator input, while a wide variety of sensors give live feedback on machine performance. A material bay contains two active XL spools and can store two more with precise moisture control. | About the X7 The Markforged X7 CFR industrial carbon fiber 3D printer combines precision-built hardware, advanced sensors, and leading edge software to deliver accurate parts repeatably. It features a reinforced, precision-machined gantry and a precision ground print bed that can be removed and replaced with 10 μm repeatability. Each piece of hardware in the filament extrusion system — from the nozzles to the extruder hobs — is optimized to resist wear from micro carbon fiber filled nylon filaments and maintain print quality over thousands of hours. Out of material sensors ensure that you’re always printing while a scanning laser on the printhead enables the printer to dynamically adjust the first layers of a print to achieve perfect bed adhesion and inspect parts for accuracy after printing. The X7 has a 3rd-generation fiber reinforcement system that enables you to lay down continuous fiber into parts. Markforged composite printers are uniquely capable of printing four types continuous fiber reinforced parts. | About the X3 The Markforged X3 FFF 3D printer combines precision-built hardware, advanced sensors, and leading edge software to deliver accurate parts repeatably. It features a reinforced, precision-machined gantry and a precision ground print bed that can be removed and replaced with 10um repeatability. Out of material sensors ensure that you’re always printing while a scanning laser on the printhead enables the printer to dynamically adjust the first layers of a print to achieve ideal bed adhesion. |

System Details | Metal X Printer The Markforged Metal X is a new kind of metal printer. By printing metal powder bound in a plastic matrix, Markforged has eliminated many of the safety risks associated with traditional metal 3D printers. That means no loose powder, no lasers, and none of the traditional safety precautions. It’s safe to use in a shop environment with minimal facility upgrades. In practice, the Metal X is essentially a very advanced FFF 3D printer. Featuring a precision machined gantry, a heated chamber and print bed, and advanced extrusion hardware, the Metal X is equipped to reliably print you durable parts. It is intentionally designed, with wear components and consumables — including print sheets, nozzles, and brushes — accessible and trivial to swap. Wash-1 Sinter-2 and Sinter-1 |
